Here’s my story.

“The world will listen to anything you have to say, as long as you can say it well.”

After four years of traveling the country and the world, in 2015 I decided to sink down roots in Kansas City and put my writing degree into action. A client found me on LinkedIn and asked me to help write a couple books. Those books turned into a wonderful six years at The Signatry, where I served as director of communications.

However, the requests for writing kept coming. Some I accepted. Some I turned down, since I already had a full-time job and a side hustle of book-writing that kept me more than busy! But as more people asked me to help them write their books, I realized I had to choose. In 2021, I quit my job and ventured into full-time freelancing.

I now run my own company, Dream Communications, specializing in helping businesses with writing and editing. I serve as editor in chief for Streamline Books, and I also co-authored The Spiritual Roots of Kansas City.

I love writing. More than my job, writing is my calling. Every time someone entrusts me with their story, they impart a sacred gift. I strive to share each person’s message in the most compelling way possible. As my college mentor told me, “The world will listen to anything you have to say, as long as you can say it well.”
